When I reached 40 or so I decided to take some length off and cut my hair up to my shoulders. I had heard that once a woman is over 40 she should not wear her hair any longer than that. It makes her look old. Oh No!! Not that!! On top of that I also noticed grays invading my beautiful dark brown almost black hair. That really bothered me until I finally decided to do something about it. I found Preference by L'oreal. Oh yeah, Preference #4 was the one for me. I tried other colors but always came back to good old #4.
When I woke up this morning I looked in the mirror and saw the dreaded gray hair that makes me feel as old as the hills. I pulled out my old friend Preference #4 and am at this moment sitting and typing with this horrible smelling goop on my head. I know I will feel better about myself once I wash it all out and my hair is back to dark brown almost black. Begone gray hair!!

gonna wash that gray right out of my hsir snd send it on it's way..I laughed at that commercial when it came out..but now that commercial is looking good to me..just too chicken to screw up my color though.
Be grateful that you have hair to dye.
I think that the day my hair is finally all back, I am going to dye it fuscia...
Long hair making you look old after the age of 40?! Naaaaahh...I ain't buying it! I'm 46 going on 47 in August, and I still have my very long and beautiful hair (which needs re-dying too. :-P ) I think my long hair helps me look younger, it is often times that people mistake me for being 10 - 12 years younger than my actual age. :-D I think I can give my long hair some credit to this one. ;-) LOL!
Oh by the way, Happy Belated Birthday, (((CLAUDIA)))! I hope it was a Good one!
